Rina Poitras

At her residence, August 15, 2010, Mrs. Rina Poitras of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 67 years.  She was the wife of Gillis Poitras.  Born at Clair, New Brunswick, in 1942, she was a daughter of the late Nazaire and Jeannette (Lang) Dionne.

She is survived by her husband, four children, Rodney Lavertue of Prescott, AZ, Brian Lavertue of Clair, Tina Poitras Hill (Darin) of Calgary, AB and Tanya Poitras Duval (Dave) of Didsbury, AB, two grandchildren, Chelsea Duval and Alexis Duval, sisters and brothers, Ginette Theriault (Helden) of Fort Kent, ME, Bernard (Bonnie) of Calgary, Bernadette Boucher (Robert) of Clair, Bertrand (late Cheryl), Robert and Gilman (Galarina) of Naugatuck, CT, Roland of Clair, Jacques (Majella) of Saint-Jacques, Richard and Daniel of Montreal, brother-in-law, Pat Albert of Fort Kent, ME, as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by one sister, Gisele Dionne Albert.

A talk was given by Lewis Byram of the Jehovah's Witnesses at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 19th at O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
