Normand Roy

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, August 15, 2010, Mr. Normand Roy of Saint-Quentin and formerly of Saint-Leonard and Siegas, passed away at the age of 83.  He was the partner of Rita Perreault.  Born at Saint-Quentin in 1927, he was a son of the late Leon and May (Cormier) Roy.

Besides his partner, he is survived by two children, Suzanne Mullin (Wally) of Plaster Rock, Dominique Sinclair (Marie-Lyne) of Saint-Quentin, two granddaughters, Christine and Victoria, two great granddaughters, Paige and Lilly, sisters and brothers, Ida Bruyère of Québec, Léo of Saint-Quentin, Georgette Roy (partner Jean-Marc), Lina, Bertin and Claude of Québec, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Hector, Laurette Migneault, Florian, Albert, Yvonne Leclerc and Delphis.

His funeral service was held Friday, August 20th at 4 p.m. from the Très Saint-Sacrement Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Quentin with Father Ernest Dumaresq officiating, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
