Josephine Chase

At the Saint John Regional Hospital, August 19, 2010, Mrs. Josephine Chase of Wapske passed away at the age of 70.  She was the wife of Beverley Chase.  Born at Plaster Rock in 1940, she was a daughter of the late Ernie and Cassie Daye.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Barbara Bourgoin (Edgar) of Wapske, one son, Kevin (Dawn) of Plaster Rock, grandson Hayden Chase, two sisters, Ernestine Levesque of New Denmark and Avis Levesque of Wapske, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by an infant son, Dennis, two brothers, Bill and Murray, two sisters, Vada and Geraldine.

Her funeral service was held Saturday, August 21st at 1 p.m. from Grace Free Will Baptist Church, Plaster Rock with Michael and Tammy Chase officiating.  The pallbearers were Mike Ouellette, Dave Michaud, Murray Michaud, Dwayne Tompkins, Edmund Levesque and Jeff Levesque.
