Marie Lucille Bellefleur

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, August 22, 2010, Mrs. Marie Lucille Bellefleur of Saint-Leonard-Parent passed away at the age of 77 years.  She was the wife of the late Emerille "Ti-Rouge" Bellefleur and had been a resident of Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard for the past year.  Born at Drummond in 1933, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Rose (Dube) Bellefleur.

She is survived by eight children, Aline (Ronald) Caron of Saint-Leonard, Real (Mary Lou) Bellefleur of Chicago, Illinois, Micheline (Gerard) Godin of Alberta, Yvon (Doreen) Bellefleur and Daniel (Lissa) Bellefleur of Saint-Leonard-Parent, Linda (Daniel) Cantin of Chicoutimi, Quebec, France (Steve) Gagnon of Saint-Leonard and Carole (Mario) Michaud of Grand Falls, 17 grandchildren, Sylvie, Eric, Michel, Josée, Krissy, Tracy, Carry, Tommy, Ashley, Jason, Julie, Jérémie, Monique, Daniel, Catherine, David and Jessy, 11 great grandchildren, Justin, Samuel, Alexie, Michaël, Audrey, Jasmine, Simon, Isabelle, Renée-Claude, Cédrik and Sophie, one sister, Cécile (Aimé) Côté of Bristol, Connecticut, two brothers, Alcide (Aline) Bellefleur and Edmond (Gisèle) Bellefleur of Drummond, as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by one sister, Carmelle Côté and seven brothers, Aurèle "Noir", Omérille, Laurent, Claude, Noël, Alfred and Léonide "Nil".

Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 Saint-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.  Her funeral service will be held Thursday, August 26th at 4:30 p.m. from the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Leonard-Parent with interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery.  For those who wish, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
