Marc Leclerc

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, August 26, 2010, Mr. Marc Leclerc of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 85 years.  He was married to the former Emilia Bonsant.  Born at Saint-Andre in 1925, he was a son of the late Leon and Sophie (Pelletier) Leclerc.

He is survived by his wife, a resident of the Grand Falls Manor, three sons, Yvon (Martine) of Edmonton, Alberta, Donald (friend Allison) of Montreal and Onile (Claudette) of Grand Falls, four daughters, Marie-Ange (friend Noël Savard) of Saint-Quentin, Diane and Noëlla (Bert Bellefleur) of Grand Falls and Léda (Hugues Godbout) of Drummond, 40 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two sisters, Yvonne Bonsant of Grand Falls and Mathilda Rossignol of Drummond, two brothers, Eloi and Onezime of Grand Falls, several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two sons, Armand and Philippe, two daughters, Lorraine and Aline Michaud.

His funeral service was held Tuesday, August 31st at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with Father Frederic Poitras officiating.  The pallbearers were Gilles, Michael, Jeffrey, Glenn, Eric and David Leclerc.  Interment was in the Assumption Cemetery.
