Célia Michaud
1916-2010
At her residence, September 2, 2010, Mrs. Célia Michaud of Drummond passed away at the age of 94 years. She was the wife of the late Edmond Michaud. Born at Madawaska, Maine in 1916, she was the last surviving child of the late Alfred and Marie (Garneau) Hébert.
She is survived by ten daughters, Constance Sirois of Perth-Andover, Claudette Caissie (Rivard) of Montreal, Charlotte Veilleux (Albénie) of Saint-Jérôme, Québec, Donalda Truchon (Roméric) of Montreal, Colette Capoldo (James) of Drummond, Nicole Michaud of Montreal, Brigitte Bourgoin (Hermel) and Anne-Marie Blanchette (Daryl) of Grand Falls, Marie-Ange Bernier (Alain) of Saint-André and Martine Michaud (Daniel Roussy) of Drummond, six sons, Wilfred (Arlene) of Connecticut, Jacques (Jacinthe) of Victoriaville, Québec, Gilles (Cécile) of Saint-André, Eudore (Carole) and Candide (Micheline) of Drummond and Valdor (Joeline) of New Denmark, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, half-brothers and half-sisters of Connecticut. She was predeceased by two children, Lisette and Rodrigue and her siblings.
Her funeral service was held Monday, September 6th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with Father Frederic Poitras officiating, assisted by Father Alfred Ouellet and Father Patrice Picard. The pallbearers were Luc Bourgoin, Tony Bourgoin, Ricky Michaud, Matthew Michaud, Bruno Roussy and Maxime Roussy. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
Arrangements were by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
