Solange Cyr Desjardins

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, July 19, 2012, Mrs. Solange Cyr Desjardins of Siegas passed away at the age of 54 years. She was the wife of Mario Desjardins. Born at Grand Falls in 1958, she was a daughter of the late Fernand and Andrina (Caron) Cyr.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Julie Desjardins of Siegas, one sister, Nicole Cyr (Rodney) of Florida, two brothers, Rejean Cyr (Carmen Lepage) and Michel Cyr (Gail Cote) of Grand Falls, as well as nieces and nephews. She is also survived by the Ouellette family: Louiselle of Grand Falls, Jean-Yves of Fernie, BC, Pauline Ouellette (Paul Madore) of Grand Falls, Michel "Rocky" (Nicole) of Grand Falls, Zoël (Monic) of Grand Falls, Brigitte of Lethbridge, Alberta and Marcel of Grand Falls.

Her funeral service was held Wednesday, July 25th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with Father Bertrand Ouellet officiating.  Interment was in the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Cemetery of Saint-Leonard-Parent.
