At her residence, May 2, 2020, at the age of 62, Mrs. Claudette Pelletier of Saint-Andre passed away surrounded by her husband Maurice Pelletier and their children.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeannette (Ringuette) Soucy of Saint-Leonard.

Besides her husband Maurice, Claudette is survived by her two children, son Kim (Isabelle) Pelletier of Moncton and daughter Denise (Tony) Bourgoin of Saint-André, as well as her grandchildren, Sady and Mason Bourgoin, whom she adored and loved.  She is also survived by her brothers and sister, Roger Soucy from Ontario, Ginette (Zoel) Morin from Saint-André, Robert (Debbie) Soucy of Saint-Leonard, Maurice Soucy of Saint-Leonard and Eugene Soucy of Ontario as well as her in-laws:  Murielle Ouellette of Shediac, Louisette (Kent) Sorensen of Halifax, Paula McLaughlin of Dieppe and Myriam Pelletier of Haute-Aboujagane and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jeannette Soucy, grandchild Sebastien Bourgoin, brothers Roland Soucy, Albert Soucy, Yves (Karen) Soucy, Jean-Guy (Ti-Guy) Soucy, Marcel (Pite) Soucy and her in-laws, Jean-Guy (John) Ouellette and Donald McLaughlin.

Funeral services for Claudette Pelletier will be held from the Saint-André Roman Catholic Church with family and close friends in attendance, followed by interment in the parish cemetery.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, attendees will be contacted by the family.  

For those who wish, donations to the Foundation of the Friends of the Grand Falls General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

When you’re a child, she walks before you, to set an example.

When you’re a teenager, she walks behind you, to be there should you need her.

When you’re an adult, she walks beside you, so that as two friends you can enjoy life together.
