Michael Barrett

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 10, 2021, Mr. Michael Barrett of Drummond passed away at the age of 64 years.  He was the partner of Lisa Tierney.  Born in Ottawa in 1957, he was a son of the late John James and Mary Ursula (Buckley) Barrett.  He had recently moved to New Brunswick from Ontario.

He is survived by his partner Lisa Tierney, children, James (Michelle Gidge) of Grand Falls, Serge Cote of Moncton, Cheryl Adams of the Bahamas and Theresa Judd of Alberta, five grandchildren, a brother John "Buck" Barrett and a sister Jan Durphey (John) of Burlington, Ontario.

A Liturgy of the Word Celebration will be held Thursday November 18th at 4 p.m. at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls.  The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m.

For those who wish, donations to an animal shelter would be appreciated by the family.

 

In New Brunswick, all people aged 12 and up will be required to show their record of immunization or medical exemption certificate and a government issued identification to be able to attend visitations and funeral services. This includes services at the funeral home or at the church.
