Larry Rasmussen

It is with great sadness that we the Rasmussen family announce the death of Larry Rasmussen at the Grand Falls General Hospital on March 18, 2024 at the age of 80.

Larry was born in 1943 the beloved son of the late Edgar and Agnes (Grosvold) Rasmussen.

Larry loved spending time with his family and had a love of playing cards, bingo, old country music and his computer. And he especially loved hockey. He definitely lived life on his own terms and will be greatly missed by us all. He was a very loving, kind and gentle person.

Besides his parents he was pre-deceased by his nephew Trevor.

He is survived by his much loved sister Laureen (Gordon) of New Denmark, his niece Tracy (Guy) of Drummond, his nephew Travis of New Denmark, great niece Megan (Connor) of PEI, great nephew Ron (Denise) of Alberta, great great niece and nephew Brent and Lauren and Baby MacDonald due in May.

There will be no visitation or funeral per Larry's wishes. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Ansgar's Church Cemetery in New Denmark.

The family would like to thank Pavillon Beaulieu, Foyer Cindy, Falls Villa, Doctors and Nurses at the Grand Falls General Hospital for the wonderful care given to Larry and a special thanks to O'Regan's Funeral Home.

and when you seemed weak you brought strength.

 

You will forever be loved and missed
