Glen Akerley

At his residence in Ottawa, Ontario, formerly of Saint-Leonard, NB, Mr. Glen Akerley passed away March 19, 2024 at the age of 64. Born in Grand Falls in 1959, he was a son of the late John and Rachel Akerley.

Glen had strong beliefs in Equality Rights and his faith.

Glen is survived by four sisters, Gail (Eric) of Kansas City, Kansas, Judy (Richard) of Saint-Leonard, Peggy (John) of Van Buren, Maine, Jill (Diana) of Bangor, Maine, 12 nieces and nephews, Sophia, John, James, Christopher, Steven, André, Julie, Marc, Patrick, Emma, JP and Kari, 17 great-nephews and great-nieces plus three on the way, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Glen was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother Lee.

A private memorial will be held at the Saint-Leonard Cemetery at a later date to be announced by the family.
