Marlene Gibbs

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, September 10, 2024, Mrs. Marlene Gibbs of Grand Falls (Portage) passed away at the age of 78 years. Born at Grand Falls in 1946, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Mary (Aitken) Christensen.

Marlene is survived by her brother Robert Christensen (Marilyn) of Ottawa, Ontario.

The family is grateful to the doctors and staff at the Grand Falls General Hospital and Foyer Chez Cindy for the wonderful care that she received in the last several months.

Marlene was a generous loving soul, who will be fondly missed by family and friends.

In accordance with Marlene's wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Interment will take place in the family plot in Union Cemetery in Grand Falls on Wednesday September 18th at 11:00 a.m.
