Sylvia Gagnon

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, December 29, 2018, Mrs. Sylvia Gagnon of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 60 years.  She was the widow of Mario Gagnon who died in 2011.  Born at Grand Falls in 1958, she was a daughter of Geralda (Lavoie) and the late Gilbert Theriault.

Sylvia is survived by her mother, Geralda Bonenfant of Grand Falls, her three daughters, Caroline Gagnon Porter (Jeffrey) and Francine Gagnon (Mark Yeomans) of Plaster Rock and Pauline Gagnon (Raymond Griffith) of Mississauga, Ontario, eleven grandchildren, Samantha, Shawna, Justin, Sabrina, Ella, Joseph, Jessie, Reya, Jordan, Mya and Jemma, five great grandchildren, Jackson, Noah, Tyson, Isabella and Isaiah, four brothers, Gerry (Polly) of Grand Falls, Denis (Linda) of Chicago, Illinois, Roger (Suzanne) of Mississauga, Ontario and Eric of Grand Falls Portage, five sisters, Cecile (Bertin Michaud) and Ginette (Howard Tremblay) of Drummond, Marguerite Theriault (Mario Guitard) of Bathurst, Diane Theriault (Gary Cote) of Drummond and Lisa (Real Desrosiers) of Saint-Andre, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father in 2006 and three siblings, Annette, Noel and Lee.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3rd at 2 p.m. from the New Life Center, 26 Duffie Street, Grand Falls with Pastor Laurier Dube officiating.  Interment will be in the Assumption Parish Cemetery, Grand Falls.
