Fernand Bourgoin

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, March 24, 2020, Mr. Fernand Bourgoin of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 97 years.  He was the widower of Eveline Langlais.  Born at Grand Falls in 1922, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Alexina (Gagnon) Bourgoin.

He is survived by ten children, Roland (Sandy) of Bristol, Connecticut, Guy (Lily) of Fredericton, Gilles-Marie (Louise) of Moncton, Donald (Cecile) of Grand Falls, Carmel (Carmel) of Perth, Ontario, Noella Morin (Aurele) of Grande-Digue, Anne-Marie Lauzier (Richard) of Val-d'Or, Quebec, Mario (Germaine) of Drummond, Rino of Brampton, Ontario and Carole Bourgoin (Gilles St-Amand) of Saint-Andre, as well as 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Enoil (late May Deschenes) of Grand Falls, Yolande (late Albert Desjardins) of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Paul, Roger (Stella Desjardins) and Jos (Sandra Bernier) of Grand Falls, sisters-in-law, Leanne Gagnon of Grand Falls and Karen Martin of Fredericton, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a son Lionel, grandson Shawn Bourgoin, granddaughter Tina Jenny Bourgoin, sister Isabel Bober (late Paul), brothers Julien (late Guilma Guay) and infant brother Lionel.

A Memorial Mass for Mr. Fernand Bourgoin will be held Thursday, October 22nd at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls.

Interment took place earlier this Spring.
