Alphonse Desjardins

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, July 21, 2020, Mr. Alphonse Desjardins of Sonia-Lisa Special Care Home of Baker Brook passed away at the age of 86 years.  Born at Grand Falls in 1933, he was a son of the late Frank A. and Julie (Bernier) Desjardins.

He is survived by five brothers, Adrien (Bernice) of Moncton, Msgr. Eymard Desjardins of Saint-Basile, Leonide (late Corinne) of Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard, Alyre (late Georgette) of Moncton, Rev. Fernand Desjardins of Manitoba, one sister, Mathilde Biron (Renald) of Montreal, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Gerard (late Noella) and Guy (late Simonne).

His funeral service will be held from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with his family and friends in attendance.  Interment will follow in the parish cemetery,

Due to the restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, the attendees will be contacted by the family.
