Michèle Ruest

At her residence, September 9, 2020, Mrs. Michèle Ruest of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 67.  She was the wife of the late Yvon Leclerc by first marriage and of Gilles Godbout by second marriage.  Born at Edmundston in 1952, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Rita (Ouellette) Ruest of Siegas.

Michèle is survived by her husband Gilles, her two sons, Dr. Paul Leclerc (Carole) of Grand Falls and Dr. André Leclerc (Audrée) of Beaumont, Quebec,  grandchildren, Anabèle, Vincent, Maxime, Béatrice and Ève, sister Nicole of Quebec, brothers, Jean-Marc (Donna Blanchette) and Jean-Guy (Evelyne Roy) of Siegas and Denis (Jane Shaw) of Montreal, as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Yvon Leclerc, an infant son, Jean-Pierre Leclerc, a sister, Denise Ruest at 6 years of age.

She is also survived by Gilles' children: Andrée Godbout (Erik Lang) of Bedford, NS and Martine Godbout (Marc LeBlanc) of Moncton; grandchildren: Frédérik, Jude, Alexandre and Mélodie.  

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls. 

Her funeral service will be held from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with her family and close friends in attendance.  Interment will be in the St-Georges Parish Cemetery, Grand Falls.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, attendees will be contacted by the family.
