Réginald ''Poillu'' Guay

At his residence, Pavillon Beau-Lieu of Grand Falls, September 16, 2020, Mr. Reginald ''Poillu'' Guay of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 73 years.  He was the husband of Margaret (St-Onge) Guay.  Born at Drummond in 1947, he was a son of the late Joseph and Eva (Bourgoin) Guay.

Mr. Guay was a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Jimmy (Marianne Caron) of Moncton, Reggie (Danielle Pelletier) of Grand Falls and Paula (Mark Castonguay) of Fredericton, four grandchildren, Ricky Guay-Martin, Noah Guay, Mylène Guay and Emelie Guay, his sisters and brothers, Rose-Aline Ouellette (late Julien) of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Jeanne Levesque (late Guy) of Drummond, Edwina Leclerc of Grand Falls, Ronald (Huguette) of New Port Richey, Florida, Candide (Antoinette) and Renaud (late Rita) of Drummond, Albert and Gilles (late Linda) of Grand Falls, Rose-Aimee Michaud (Euclide) of Chatham, Ontario and Pauline Dubé (Joe) of Grand Falls, sisters-in-law, Léanne Gagnon (late Albeo) and Jeanie Guay (late Alphonse), as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Albeo (late Marie-Mai), Alphonse (Jeanie) and an infant brother, Levite and one sister, Guilma Bourgoin (late Julien).

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls.  

His funeral service will be held from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with family and close friends in attendance.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, attendees will be contacted by the family.

For those who wish, donations to the Grand Falls Regional Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
