Joseph Bernier

At the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor), September 24, 2020, Mr. Joseph Bernier of Drummond passed away at the age of 91 years.  He was the widower of Jeannine (Parent) Bernier who died in 2012.  Born at Drummond in 1929, he was a son of the late Arthur and Eva (Cyr) Bernier.

He is survived by six children, Diane Bernier (Rick Rademaker) of Saint-Leonard-Parent, Jocelyn "Bout" (Noella) and Jean-Eudes "Blond" (Jane) of Drummond, Albeo "Titou" (Debbie) of Grand Falls, Michel and Lori (Joane) of Drummond, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Rita Michaud (Pius) of Portland, Maine, Noel Bernier (late Simone) of Drummond and Marie Poitras (late Jos) of Grand Falls, sisters-in-law, Jeannine (late Gaetan), Viola (late Louis) and brother-in-law, Raymond Roy (late Wilda), several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a daughter Danielle in 1972, one sister, Wilda Roy, three brothers, Lucien (late Cecile), Gaetan and Louis. 

His funeral service will be held from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with his family and close friends in attendance.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, attendees will be contacted by the family.
