Albert ''Noir'' Guay

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, October 1, 2020, Mr. Albert ''Noir'' Guay of Drummond passed away at the age of 71 years.  Born at Drummond in 1949, he was a son of the late Joseph and Eva (Bourgoin) Guay.

He is survived by his two children, Albert C. Guay (Lynne Léger) of Dieppe and Rachel Guay (Yvon Chiasson) of Drummond, three grandchildren, Alexandre Chiasson, Lucy and Sophie Guay, sisters and brothers, Rose-Aline Ouellette (late Julien) of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Jeanne Levesque (late Guy) of Drummond, Edwina Leclerc of Grand Falls, Ronald (Huguette) of New Port Richey, Florida, Candide (Antoinette) and Renaud (late Rita) of Drummond, Gilles (late Linda) of Grand Falls, Rose-Aimee Michaud (Euclide) of Chatham, Ontario and Pauline Dubé (Joe) of Grand Falls, sisters-in-law, Léanne Gagnon (late Albeo), Jeanie Guay (late Alphonse) and Margaret Guay (late Reginald), as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by four brothers, Albeo (late Marie-Mai), Alphonse (Jeanie), Reginald (Margaret) and an infant brother, Levite and one sister, Guilma Bourgoin (late Julien).

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls.

His funeral service will be held from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with his family and close friends in attendance.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, attendees will be contacted by the family.

The family would like to sincerely thank Lynda Godbout for her love and unconditional support for the past years.  We would also like to recognize the efforts and the care given to Dad by Tracy Ouellet, Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Eve St-Hilaire, Dr. Jean-Francois Belanger, Dr. Robert Adams as well as all other doctors and staff of the Grand Falls, Edmundston and Dr. Georges L. Dumont hospitals during his illness.
