At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, November 6, 2020, Mrs. Nicole Roussel of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 75 years. She was the wife of Hudor Roussel. Born at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in 1945, she was a daughter of the late Abel and Jeannette Michaud. She was also a resident of Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Hudor, three sons: Roland (Kim Collins) of Ontario, Eric (Lisette) of Saint-Leonard, Keith (Kim) of Grand Falls; five grandchildren: Jason, Ricky, Joey (Monica Martin), Luc (Stephanie Gionet), Niki; five great grandchildren: Alex, Max, Nicolas, Natalie and Jaxon. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Roselle (late Wilbrod ''Babe'' Gervais) of Maine, Bertin ''Joe'' (Irene) of Saint-Leonard, Suzette (late Claude Dumont) of Ontario, Linda of Saint-Leonard, Serge (Sylvie), Maurice ''Baou'' (Joy), both of Ontario, Dick (Jocelyne) of Texas, as well as many nieces and nephews as well as the Roussel family.
She was predeceased by one granddaughter: Nicole Roussel; four brothers: Raoul ''Piton'', Donald, Gilles ''Flat Fixer'' and Eugene (Gene).
A private interment service will be held at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Cemetery with her family and close friends in attendance.
