Bruce Saunders

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 21, 2020, Mr. Bruce Saunders of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 64.  He was the husband of Line (Bernier) Saunders whom he married 43 years ago.  Born at Brampton, Ontario in 1956, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Joan (Bowman) Saunders and step-son of the late Milton Dale of Orillia, Ontario.

Bruce worked for McCain Foods Limited for 41 years.  At the end of his career, he was a shift supervisor at the pizza plant which was under the new ownership of Dr. Oetker.  He loved travelling to concerts and ball games, was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, truly enjoyed being with his grandkids and loved always "being right".

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Line, two children, Scott Saunders (Misty) of Florenceville-Bristol and Tracey Poitras (Jean-François) of Beaumont, Alberta, four grandchildren, Zoey Poitras, Grant Saunders, Lyla Poitras and Brett Saunders, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Venette and Joe Kavanaugh of Grand Falls.  He was predeceased by his infant granddaughter Paisley Poitras, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilfred and Annette Bernier and brother-in-law, Cyr Bernier.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls.

A private interment will be held in the Union Cemetery, Grand Falls.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Dept. of Health, attendees to the visitation will be contacted by the family.
