Dana Gillespie

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, December 27, 2020, Mr. Dana Gillespie of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 56 years.  He was the husband of Pamela (LeBlanc) Gillespie.  Born at Perth-Andover in 1964, he was a son of Norma (Clowes) and of the late Marshall Gillespie.  He was also a step-son of the late Frank Browne Jr.

Dana is survived by his wife Pamela, two children, Amy Michaud (Richard) and Kevin Gillespie (fiancée Kayla Hansen) of Grand Falls, grandson, Cayden Michaud, his mother, Norma Browne of Grand Falls, his brothers and sisters, Patrick Gillespie (Linda) of Drummond, Michael Gillespie of Grand Falls, Janet Gillespie (Cindy) of Miramichi, Nancy Cain (Glen) of Rothesay and Eddie Browne (Julie) of Grand Falls, nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his in-laws, Laurie and Diane LeBlanc of Grand Falls, brothers-in-law, Danny LeBlanc of Newfoundland and Robert LeBlanc (Danie) of Dieppe.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours for family and close friends on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Strict COVID-19 protocols will be in place for the visitation.

His funeral service will be held from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m., Grand Falls Portage with his family and close friends in attendance.  Father Gilbert Doddatto will officiate.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
