Mrs. Danielle Bergeron passed away at her residence in Grand Falls on Wednesday January 13, 2021, at the age of 75 years and 9 months. Born in Dolbeau, Saguenay Lac St-Jean, Quebec in 1945, she was a daughter of the late Joseph "Pitre" Bergeron and the late Annette Lamothe.

She is survived by her three children, Don Bouchard (Melinda) of Grand Falls, Jonathan Bouchard of Grand Falls and Audrey Comeau (Bruno) of Allardville, six grandchildren: Catherine (Frédérique Paquet), Jacob (Jin He Han), Samuel (Kelsey Smith), Benjamin, Jérémie and Vincent, a great grandson Thomas. She is also survived by six sisters and three brothers, Lise Bergeron, Denise Morissette (Yvon), Murielle Bergeron (Robert), Annette Nicole (Jean-Pierre), Jean-Jacques Bergeron (Ghislaine), Suzanne Bergeron, Laval Bergeron (Rachelle ), Jean-Serge Bergeron and Catherine Bergeron (Simon). She was predeceased by a brother Denis Bergeron.

The family would like to thank the Grand Falls Extra Mural team for their immense support, and a sincere thank you to Dr. Sylvie Sénéchal for the help and support she gave to our mother throughout her long life battle.

When she arrived in NB in 1975, Danielle Bergeron wasted no time and started one of her first businesses with "B" pigsties limited in Saint-Leonard. At the same time, she founded the Saint-Leonard figure skating club in 1981. It was in the early 1980s that she found her true passion, that is, painting, drawing and teaching. From there, she founded the "Société culturelle des Chutes de Grand-Sault" where several hundred people benefited from her introduction to the Visual Arts. But her biggest mark that she leaves will always be having been the president and founder of the "Symposium des Arts Visuels du Nord-Ouest" and especially the teaching of all these students in drawing and painting.

As an Artist, she was listed in the Montreal Fraser Auction. Her works have been found in several international galleries, such as: Israel, France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Japan to name a few.

Despite her busy schedule, she always found time to volunteer in her community, such as cooking meals for families whose loved ones had passed away.

We would like to highlight the presence of her dear friend Marie-Thérèse Bourgoin. Her friendship was greatly appreciated.

The interment of Mrs. Danielle Bergeron will take place in the spring at Pine Hill cemetery in Grand Falls.

For those who wish, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the "Symposium des Arts Visuels du Nord-Ouest" would be appreciated.

Arrangements are by O'Regan's Funeral Home Ltd.
