Pierre Clavette

At the Edmundston Regional Hoaspital, January 18, 2021, Mr. Pierre Clavette of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 62 years.  He was the husband of Margarita Martiunez Clavette.  Born at Grand Falls in 1958, he was a son of the late Lionel and Gertrude (Theriault) Clavette.

Pierre was a maintenance foreman with CN Rail, where he worked for 39 years (from the age of 16 until retirement).  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, of Grand Falls Council 2331.  He was a nature lover.  He loved hunting, spending time at his camp, hockey, baseball, women!, parties, swimming and just being out on water.  He also loved going to Mexico with his beloved Maggie.

He is survived by his wife, Margarita, three children, Philippe Clavette of Saint John, Paul Clavette of Grand Falls and Julie Cormier (Jean-Francois Duguay) of Moncton, three grandchildren, Jasson Clavette, Maëlie Clavette and Magalie Duguay, brother and sisters, Jocelyne, Francoise, Francine (Mel) and Andre Clavette (Danielle Dube), several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Jean-Guy and Norbert Clavette.

A Celebration of Life for Pierre will be held next summer.  Interment will be in the Assumption Cemetery, Grand Falls.

For those who wish, donations to the Edmundston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  (jokingly, Pierre would have suggested to make donations to the Liquor Store).
