Odette Gauvin

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, February 20, 2021, Mrs. Odette Gauvin of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 83 years.  She was the widow of Rodolphe Gauvin and had been a resident of Manoir Belle Vue of Edmundston.  Born at Degelis, Quebec in 1937, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Antonia (Martin) Michaud.

She is survibed by her five children, Myriam Cyr (Gilles) of Saint-Leonard, Sergine Gauvin (Sylvain) of Quebec, Serge of Saint-Leonard, Daniel (Manon) of Moncton and Jeanne Mance Gauvin of Saint-Leonard, six grandchildren,  Caroline, Billy, Jordan, Alexandre, Cloé and Heidi, one great granddaughter, Sam, her brothers and sisters, Marguerite and Cécile of Québec, Benoit (Marcelle) and Leonard of Mapleton, Maine, Fernand (Denise), Mona and Jeanne Mance (Charles Soucy), all of Quebec, as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Gisèle, her brohers, Robert, Yvon and Jean-Noël, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Delphis Levesque (late Gisèle), Georges Plourde (Marguerite), Jacqueline Michaud (Léonard), Réal Griffin (Mona), Yvette Michaud (late Robert) and Eric Morneault (Cécile).

A Liturgy of the Word Celebration will be held at the Guy O'Regan Funeral Home in Grand Falls with her family and close friends in attendance.  Interment will be in the Saint-Leonard Cemetery.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Dep.t of Health, attendees will be contacted by the family.

For those who wish, donations to the Building Fund of the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
