Viateur Ouellette

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, May 18, 2021, Mr. Viateur Ouellette of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 79 years.  Born at Drummond in 1942, he was a son of the late Ludger and Sophie (Poitras) Ouellette.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Marie-Jeanne (Lajeunesse), his daughter, Francine Ouellette-Theriault (Alain) of Dieppe, his son, Eric Ouellette (Christine) of Grand Falls, three grandchildren, Valérie Thériault (Benoit), Francis Thériault (Stéphanie) and Jessy Jane Ouellette, a great granddaughter, Emmie, one brother, André Ouellette (Noëlla) of Drummond, sister-in-law, Rolène Ouellette (late Gérard), as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two brothers from his mother's first marriage to Joseph Daigle, Alexis and Edmond Daigle, his Ouellette brothers and sisters, Gérard, Jean, Ludger Jr., Benoit, Angéline Leclerc, Antoinette Cyr, Alma Michaud, as well as infant sisters, Marthe and Marie-Mai.

Funeral services for Mr. Viateur Ouellette will be held from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the parish cemetery.

Due to circumstances beyond the family's control, funeral services will be held in June.
