Joseph Yacovino

At Hotel-Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, June 10, 2021, Mr. Joseph Yacovino of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 84.  Born at Upper Kent, New Brunswick in 1937, he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Giberson) Yacovino.

He is survived by his good friend, Juanita Black of Nictau, brother Michael Yacovino of Florida, sister Judy Yacovino of Hawaii as well as nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Never having any biological children of his own, Joe was ''adopted'' into the role of Papa Joe by many, including friend Juanita's family of 4 adult children, 6 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  His love of kids, dogs, music, oronthology, and nature, he passed on to those that loved him.

He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed, but always be remembered with deep respect and love by those that knew him.

He was frequently heard calling out

Bab-Ba-Louuuuuuuu.....

Rest easy Papa

A Celebration of Life for Joseph will be held at a later date.  Interment will be in the Riley Brook Cemetery.
