Dorina Poitras

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, September 20, 2021, Mrs. Dorina Poitras of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 62 years.  Born at Saint-Andre in 1959, she was a daughter of the late Enoil and Jeannette (Ouellette) Desjardins.

She is survived by three sons, Joey (Lise Lajeunesse) of Saint-Andre, Jean-Francois (Tracy) of Edmonton, Alberta and Pierre of Moncton, four grandchildren, Zoey, Jonathan, Nathaniel and Lyla, one brother, Alain Desjardins (Suzanne) of Saint-Andre, four sisters, Marie-Line Rossignol (Edgar) and Mariette Ladouceur (late Mike) of Saint-Andre, Sylvie Theriault (Valmond) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and Josee Desjardins Bruner of Grand Falls, as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Rejean (Line) and a sister, Realdine Violette (Daniel).

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, August 13th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-André Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.
