Cécile Ouellette

At the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor) September 26, 2021, Mrs. Cecile Ouellette of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 89 years.  She was the widow of Aurele F. Desjardins by first marriage, of Normand Ouellette by second marriage and partner of the late Bertrand Levesque.  Born at Drummond in 1932, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Melvina (Bernier) Michaud.

She is survived by eight children (all by her first marriage to Aurele Desjardins), Murielle (Jacques Cyr) of Grand Falls, Gilles (Michelle Rioux) of Grand Falls, Jacqueline (Roland Dupres) of Caswell, Maine, Ghislain (Nicole Rossignol) of Drummond, Francine Morin (Yvon Desjardins) of Drummond, Yolande (Valmont Godbout) of Drummond, Guilaine (Marcel Morin) of Drummond and Denise (Albert Rossignol) of Saint-Andre, as well as 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

She was predeceased by a daughter, Gaetanne Bernier (Danny), grandson, Marco Cyr, seven brothers, Jeremie, Eusebe, Clovis, Edmond, Leon, Jean and Eugene Michaud, three sisters, Leona ''Rose'' Gagnon, Oliva Cyr and Odelie Beaulieu.

Interment will be in St-Michel Cemetery, Drummond at a later date.
