Margaret Toner

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, October 23, 2021, Mrs. Margaret Toner of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 92 years.  She was the wife of Francis Toner.  Born at Johnville in 1929, she was the last surviving child of the late Joseph and Alice (Boyd) Brennan.

Margaret is survived by her husband for the past 69 years, Francis, four children, Barbara Toner of Fredericton, Gregory (Cyndy) of Grand Falls, Bill (Andrea) of Fredericton and Emily (Marc Ouellette) of Grand Falls, seven grandchildren, Justin (Mélanie), Heather (Evan), Christine (Michael), Danielle (Jeff), Eric, Kaylyn (Matt) and Samantha, five great grandchildren, Ethan, Charlie, Isaac, Madeline and Elliotte, sister-in-law, Teresa Brennan (late Moses) of Ottawa, Ontario, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by all of her siblings, John, Gertrude, Walter, Moses, Joseph, Francis and Kevin Brennan.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday, October 27th from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 27th at 4 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.

In New Brunswick, all people aged 12 and up will be required to show their record of immunization or medical exemption certificate and a government issued identification to be able to attend visitations and funeral services. This includes services at the funeral home or at the church.
