Mathieu Cyr

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, December 24, 2021, Mr. Mathieu Cyr of Foyer La Renaissance of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska passed away at the age of 68.  Born at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in 1953, he was a son of the late Francis P. and Ernestine (Michaud) Cyr.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Théo (Marguerite Thériault) of Madawaska, Maine, Roland (late Noëlla Oakes) of Presque Isle, Maine, Onile (Gaëtane Ringuette) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Rino of Saint-Leonard, Gérald (partner Jacqueline Thibeault) of Montreal, Huguette (partner Christian Desjardins) of Saint-Leonard, Laurette (Eric Desjardins) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Françoise (late Régis Lebel) of Siegas, Marc (Mona Thibodeau) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and Nicole (Bertrand Aubin) of Saint-André, brother-in-law, Rino Morneault (late Jeannine) of Saint-Hilaire, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Jeannine and Rina.

His funeral service will be held Monday, May 23rd at 11 a.m. from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.
