Eveline Michaud

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, January 9, 2022, Mrs. Eveline Michaud of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 75 years. She was the widow of Raoul ''Piton'' Michaud. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1946, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Akerley Sr. and of the late Julia Poirier.

She is survived by six children, Suzanne Lagacé (David), Mathieu ''Moine'' Michaud (Cécile), Jeannette Ruest (Jean-Claude) and Gérard Michaud (Vicky), all of Saint-Leonard, Line Bérubé (Ronald) of Saint-Andre and Nathalie Lagacé (Daniel) of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, Alfred Akerley Jr., Robert ''Bobby'' Akerley (Réjeanne) and Colette Marquis (Robert), all of Saint-Leonard, as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Edouard Poirier and an infant sister, Carol.

Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours on Friday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, January 14th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
