Gérard Bernier

At his residence, May 3, 2022, Mr. Gerard Bernier of Drummond passed away at the age of 74 years. He was the husband of Cecile Bergeron. Born at Drummond, he was a son of the late Georges A. and Delima (Ouellette) Bernier.

Mr. Bernier was the founder of G. Bernier Enterprise Inc., manufacturer of windows and doors. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, Council 2331 and 4th degree, Assembly 0621.

He is survived by his wife, four children, Michel of Toronto, Ghislain (Michelle Bourgoin), Gisèle (Eric Plourde) and Ginette (Gary Johnson), all of Drummond, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers, Philippe of Drummond and Prime Ouellette (Lise) of Connecticut, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a son, Gérald.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 10th at 4 p.m. from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the parish cemetery.

Please note that there will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service.
