Lise Desjardins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our mother, Lise Desjardins, wife of the late Dr. Jean-Guy Desjardins. She passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 86. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Rémi Janisse and the late Gertrude Bessette.

Our mother, Lise, leaves us to mourn: Claude (Mario Côté) of Drummond, Monique (Jean-Paul Levesque) of Irishtown, Louise of Ottawa, Sylvie (Raymond Bourgeois) of Dieppe, Josée (Gilles Desrosiers) of Ottawa, Pierre (Mireille Chiasson) of Shediac Cape and Nathalie of Ottawa. In addition to her 7 children, she is survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert and Jacques Janisse, her sister Lucille Janisse-Hamelin and, most recently, a grandson, Stéphane McIntosh.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the O’Regan Funeral Home, 515 Everard-Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls, on Monday, October 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The funeral will take place the same day at the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Grand Falls at 11 a.m.
