Dell Hiscock
1947-2022
The sun has set on a most amazing man.
Dell Andrew Hiscock left this world on his terms just as he
lived his own life. He was 75 years old.
He was the son of Kenneth and Margaret Hiscock. He is survived
by his devoted and loving wife Linda, three sisters
Ann
Brown, Judy and Lee Hiscock, nieces and nephews and many Fur
Babies.
Dell attended Nova Scotia
Agricultural College and graduated from MacDonald College in
Quebec.
He worked most of his life in North
View as an Elite Seed Potato Farmer as well as managing a
large woodlot harvesting logs and fuel wood.
Dell received
several awards and many accolades over the years pertaining to his
exceptional farming operational skills and the management of his
woodlots.
Dell was an avid environmentalist,
served on several committees. He was a great supporter and volunteer
of the SPCA and the Plaster Rock World Pond Hockey.
Dell had many passions, he loved planting trees. He was
a basketball enthusiast, played for several years, coached the Tobique
Valley girls team, and watched it on TV when ever he had an
opportunity.
Dell was the most humble man. He
took immense pleasure in the success of others, and was liked by
anyone who met him. Always ready to help anyone in need.
Many thanks to Dr Joanne Leblanc and the extra mural team
for their kindness and care. Also those who called and visited Dell
during his last days. It meant so much to him.
Safe journey Dell. There will be many wet noses and wagging
tails awaiting your arrival at the rainbow bridge.
Respecting Dell's wishes, there will be no funeral or
visitation.
For those who wish, memorial
donations to the Victoria County SPCA, or the Mama Bear
Cancer Fund would be greatly appreciated.
