Douglas Urquhart
1946-2022
Mr. Douglas Urquhart of Plaster Rock passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 28, 2022 at the age of 75. He was married to the former Sheila Brown. Born at Belisle Creek, New Brunswick in 1946, he was a son of the late Hazen and Evelyn (Long) Urquhart.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheila, two children, Cheryl Taylor (Donnie) of Plaster Rock and Brian (Brandie) of Grand Falls, grandchildren, Corina Taylor and William Taylor, Emily Urquhart (Caleb) and Cadence Urquhart, sister Joyce and brother Eric (Doris), nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother-in-law, Rev. James McKillop.
Resting at the Family Worship Center, 123 Main Street, Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Saturday, October 1st from 2 to 4 p.m
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 1st at 4 p.m. from the Family Worship Center with Rev. D.R. McKillop officiating. Interment will follow in Linton Corner Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to FWC Building Fund or the Mama Bear Cancer Fund would be appreciated by the family.
