1942-2022

André Isabelle

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, October 20, 2022, Mr. André Isabelle passed away at the age of 80 years. He was the partner of Jacqueline St-Amand. Born in Quebec in 1942 and having been raised in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, he was the last surviving son of the late René and Marguerite (Plamondon) Isabelle.

Mr. Isabelle was a resident of Kedgwick for more than 30 years and was General Manager of Plancher Héritage until his retirement in 2008.

He is survived by his partner Jacqueline, his daughter Buffy St-Amand (Kelly Yagelniski) of Calgary and two children from his first marriage, Marie-Josée Isabelle and Christian Isabelle, as well as four grandchildren (Amelia, Alexis, Isabelle and Nickolai), as well as nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his three brothers, Roland, Emile and René (Pitre) all of d’Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

A private committal ceremony will be held at a later date with his family and close friends in attendance.
