Roland ''Titou'' LaPointe
1932-2023
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, March 11, 2023, Mr. Roland ''Titou'' LaPointe of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 91 years. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1932, he was the son of the late Edward and Marie (Richard) LaPointe.
Mr. LaPointe was an American veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 52 of Saint-Leonard. He was also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2743.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Alexina Simoneau, brothers Rodolphe, Yvan and Maurice as well as twin infant sisters.
Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours on Tuesday, March 21st from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus will meet for prayers Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21st at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with interment in the parish cemetery.
