Roger Gauvin

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, March 15, 2023, Mr. Roger Gauvin of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes passed away at the age of 85 years. He was the husband of Lorraine (Sirois) Gauvin. Born at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in 1937, he was a son of the late Eddie and Adèle (Dionne) Gauvin.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine, two children, Luc Gauvin and Martine Desjardins (Pierre) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, four grandchildren, Gaston (Audrey Fortier), Régis, Yvan (Vanessa Martin) and Marco, three great grandchildren, Maze, Denzel and Félix, five sisters and one brother, Simone of Edmundston, Mona (late Adrien Desjardins) of Saint-Leonard, Rodolphe (Noëlla) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Ginette (Larry Gendreau) and Colette (Lester Ouellette) of Caribou, Maine and Roberte of Edmundston, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Paul at the age of 10, sisters, Hélène (Réginald Dubé of Van Buren, Maine), Velma (late Ronald Martin), Juliette (late Delman Levesque), Emérencienne (Adrien Francoeur of Edmundston), Gaëtan (Thérèse of Caribou, Maine), Germain (Rita Lacombe of Edmundston) and Parise.

Please note that there will not be any funeral service or visiting hours held.

Interment will take place in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Parish Cemetery at a later date.
