Roger M. Poitras
1965-2023
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, May 11, 2023, Mr. Roger M. Poitras of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 58 years. He was the husband of Linda (Castonguay) Poitras. Born in Grand Falls in 1965, he was a son of the late Albert and Rita (Benoit) Poitras.
He is survived by his wife Linda, step sons Jean Levesque (Tina Francoeur) of Wallaceburg, Ontario and Luc Levesque (Jennifer Pitre) of Fredericton, step grandchildren, Chase and Jackson Levesque, Simon and Nadine Desjardins, two sisters Reina Lavoie (Eloi) and Gerry Poitras (late Gerald), both of Moncton, a brother, Duane Reid of Huntsville, Ontario, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Roseanne and Darlene and nephew Perice Poitras.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Tuesday, May 16th from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 16th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.
