Jean-Guy Langlais

At the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor), May 14, 2023, Mr. Jean-Guy Langlais of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 83 years. He was the partner of Lorraine Martin. Born at Drummond in 1939, he was a son of the late Arthur and Rose (Desjardins) Langlais.

Besides his partner Lorraine, he is survived by three children, Monique Langlais (André Courchaine) and Louise Langlais of Saint-Adelphe-de-Champlain, Quebec and Eric Langlais of Mirabel, Quebec, the mother of his children, Lucille Laforge of Saint-Adelphe-de-Champlain, Quebec, four grandchildren, Jonathan and Olivier Urbain, Mathis and Alexis Langlais, two great grandchildren, Alex and Loïc, brother and sisters, Alyre Langlais (Mila) of Montreal, Thérèse Moreau (Albert Sr.) of Drummond and Bernadette Roth (Gene) of California, as well as nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Lorraine's family: Morel Martin and Yves Martin (Nathalie), grandchildren, Kevin (Cindy), Jessica (Jeannot) and Mathieu (Emilie).

He was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Aurèle Langlais (late Phyllis), Claude Langlais (late Ella), Gertrude Michaud (late Joseph F.), Rita Snay, Marie-Mai Guay (late Albeo), Joseph Langlais (late Albina), Blanche Poitras (late Gabriel) and Colette Walker (Claude, of Chipman).

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Saturday, June 24th from 9 to 11 a.m.

A Liturgy of the Word Celebration will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 24th at 11 a.m. with interment in the St-Michel Cemetery, Drummond.
