Anthony Jr. Geneau

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, May 23, 2023, Mr. Anthony Geneau Jr. of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 89 years. He was the widower of Verna Michaud. Born at Blue Bell in 1933, he was a son of the late Antoine Sr. and Lucie Genevieve (Mazerolle) Geneau.

Mr. Geneau was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree, Council 2331 and 4th Degree, Assembly 0621.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Steven Geneau (Angela Michaud), Daniel Cyr (Joanne) and Pamela Cyr, great grandchildren, Emmett, Karine, Maxime and Amélie, three sisters, Ida Geneau of Jonquiere, Quebec, Germaine Leclerc and Marguerite Geneau of Grand Falls, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Verna, daughter Lisa and son Donald, great grandson Daniel Gaëtan Patrick Cyr, sisters, Madeline Rossignol, Rita Michaud, Elizabeth Lagace and Eva Cote, brothers, Gilbert, Camille, Gaston, Raymond, Firmin, Paul, Robert and Leon Geneau.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Saturday, May 27th from 12 Noon until 1:30 p.m.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, May 27th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
