Ethel Rasmussen
1925-2023
At the Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock, September 1, 2023, Mrs. Ethel Rasmussen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 98 years. She was the widow of Hartman Rasmussen. Born at New Denmark in 1925, she was a daughter of the late Charles Francis and Jean (MacDonald) Raymond.
She is survived by her son Vance Rasmussen (Jeannie) of New Denmark, three grandsons, Steven (Brenda), Vaughan (Shelly) and Glenn (Holly), all of New Denmark, four great grandchildren, Bryson, Alysia, Ian and Vanessa, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all her siblings: Francis Raymond of Scotland, Isabelle (Herman) Rasmussen and Florence (Phillip) Rasmussen of New Denmark, Beatrice (Lawrence) Dunster of Lake Edward.
Resting at St. Ansgar's Anglican Church in New Denmark with visiting on Saturday, September 9th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9th at 2 p.m. from the church with Rev. Harold Boomer officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
