At the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, February 5, 2024, Mr. Réginald Martin of Plaster Rock and formerly of McAdam, passed away at the age of 80 years. Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in 1943, he was a son of the late George "Percy" and Jeannette (Clavette) Martin.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Marttin worked several years for CP Rail and later was caretaker of Rockland Cemetery in McAdam, NB.
He is survived by his son Bertrand Martin (Denise DeLeavey) of Plaster Rock, two grandchildren, Jasmine and Alexandre Martin, sisters and brothers, Elaine Fournier (John) of Carlingford, Ferne Dee of Tinker, Réal Martin of Saint-André, Linda Martin of Drummond, Roger Martin of Alberta, Gilbert Martin (Leona) of Quebec, George Martin (Marcella) and Philllip Martin (Danielle) of Drummond, as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his common-law partner, Linda Lou Cleghorn, his siblings, Bertrand Martin, Lorianne Williams, Fidèle Martin and Carmen Donovan as several infant siblings.
Interment will be held ion the Rockland Cemetery of McAdam at a later date.
