Elmer Lavoie

At the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor), March 5, 2024, Mr. Elmer Lavoie of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 84 years. He was married to the former Claudette Pelletier. Born at Grand Falls in 1940, he was a son of the late Pierre and Lauré (Côté) Lavoie.
Elmer worked his entire career in the petroleum industry, as a technician and a truck driver. He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Grand Falls Fire Dept. for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife Claudette, their three daughters, Connie Cohen of Waldoboro, Maine, Lisa (Louis Berceli) of Manchester, New Hampshire and Amy (Riccardo Pappini) of Windsor, Ontario, three grandchildren, Joshua Steward (Sarah), Alan Green IV (Lindsay) and Renée Green (Nick), three great grandchildren, Liam, Evelyn and Jayson, one brother, Roger (late Linda) of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Rita Lavoie, Clauda ''Toody'' (late Leroy ''Pooch'' Felmey) and Victoire (late Enoïl Michaud).
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday, March 13th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
A Liturgy of the Word Celebration will be held Wednesday, March 13th at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in the Assumption Parish Cemetery at a later date.
