Irma Castonguay

At her residence, March 8, 2024, Mrs. Irma Castonguay of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 77 years. She was the widow of Yvon Castonguay. Born at Saint-André in 1946, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Thérèse (Dionne) Desrosiers.

She is survived by two children, Anne Durepos (Pierre) of Saint-André and Raymond Castonguay (Lyne Levesque-Castonguay) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and four grandchildren, Lucie, Annie, Sara and Nicolas, four great grandchildren, Vincent, Chantal, Alyssa and Victor, two brothers and one sister, Yvon Desrosiers (late Alma) of Grand Falls, Gaëtan Desrosiers (Nilda) and Diane Rossignol (Fernand) of Saint-André, brother-in-law,  Gilles Caron (late Eva) of St-Léonard-Parent, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Eva Caron and a brother, Léonard Desrosiers.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Tuesday, March 19th from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 19th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-André Roman Catholic Church.
