Roger Cyr

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, April 17, 2024, Mr. Roger Cyr of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 71 years. He was married to the former Suzanne Gauvin. Born at Siegas in 1953, he was a son of the late Philodo and Odélie (Gagnon) Cyr.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne, their children, Cathy Cyr (Marc-André Leblanc) of Moncton, Julie Paré (Kevin Plante), Gaëtan Paré (Julie) of Montreal, Eric Poitras (Sylvie) of Ottawa, his grandchildren, Abby, Levi, Annabelle, Alexandra, Jasmine, Mégane, Audrey, Dylan and Gabriel as well as his brothers and sisters, Normand (Colline) of Alberta, Claude ''Pit'' (Nicole) of Hartford, Connecticut, Doria Cyr-Violette of Van Buren, Maine, Yolande (Michel Normand) of Montreal, Raymonde Cyr of Montreal, Laurence (Jean-Claude Lefebvre) of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Gisèle (Alyre Poitras) of Saint-Leonard, Gladys Byram of Saint-Leonard, Hilda Cyr (Joe Poitras) of Edmundston as well as nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Philodo and Odélie Cyr, his brothers, Réal (Géralda) and Gaëtan as well as the grandchildren, Yves Donald Beaulieu and Carolane Paré.

There will not be any funeral service held for Roger. Interment will be in the Saint-Leonard Cemetery.

However, the family will be receiving relatives and friends at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard on Monday, April 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
