Norma Cyr

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, April 27, 2024, Mrs. Norma Cyr of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 86 years. She was the widow of Galen Hitchcock by first marriage and of Wilfred Cyr by second marriage. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1937, she was a daughter of the late Condé and Louise (Thibodeau) Bourgoin.

She is survived by four sisters, Monique Bourgoin of Quebec, Lorraine Carroll (late Gerald) of Grand Falls, Nicole Bourgoin of Quebec and Thelma Bourgoin Cote(late Jim) of Caribou, Maine, as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mona Beaulieu (late Clarence), Rina Coolman (late Jay) and Dolorès Paulin (late Rejean).

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Friday, May 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

A Liturgy of the Word Celebration will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 3rd at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Saint-Andre Cemetery at a later date.
