Lee Chamberland

It is with great sadness that we announce that Lee Chamberland passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024, at the Moncton Hospital.  Born in  Grand Falls, NB in 1964, he was the cherished son of the late Rita (Albert) and Reginald Chamberland. 

Lee leaves behind his wife Bonnie (Fitzherbert), sons Paul (Melissa) and Mike (Kate), his grandchildren Emmett, Chelsea, Peyton, Jalen and Cali, his sisters Brigitte (Mario) LaForest, and Diane (Dave) Colwell, mother-in-law Dianna Fitzherbert, sister-in-law Cindy (Dave) Blizzard and brother-in-law Brad (Debbie) Fitzherbert.   He was preceded in death by his son Tony and brother Albert.

Lee was a Councillor for the Town of Grand Falls for eleven years and enjoyed a fulfilling career as a school bus driver and loved all of his students.  When he retired, he moved to Shediac, New Brunswick to be closer to his sons and grandchildren.  

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, located at 515 Everard Daigle Boulevard, Grand Falls, New Brunswick.   A private family interment will take place after the visitation. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
