Robert Johnsen

At his residence, May 2, 2024, Mr. Robert Johnsen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 83 years. He was married to the former Wanda Lewis. Born in Grand Falls in 1940, he was a son of the late Andy and Mary (Pedersen) Johnsen.

Robert is survived by his wife Wanda, three children, Robbie (Terri Lynn) of New Denmark, Eric (Jennifer) of Waasis and Karen Johnsen of Rusagonis, eight grandchildren, Kyle, Bradley, Vanessa, Stephanie, Nicole, Kirsten, Connor and Rhys, six great grandchildren, Colton, Thomas, Kristian, Ava, Caelen and Jaxon, brother Alan (Pauline) of New Denmark and sister Marilyn Beaulieu (late Raymond) of Limestone, Maine, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Terry (Kim) of Halifax and sister-in-law, Claudette Johnsen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11th at 2 p.m. from St. Peter's Lutheran Church in New Denmark with Pastor Jonah Bruce officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
